PS4 Games Effectively at Rs. 999 With Sony India Back to School Offer: Here's the Full List

PS4 games are now available at Rs. 999 with Sony India's Back to School Offer. Multiple retailers have confirmed with Gadgets 360 that several games in the PlayStation Hits label will be available for lower than their Rs. 1,499 MRP at sites like Amazon, Flipkart, and Games The Shop in addition to offline retail stores. However there are a few things to keep in mind. First up, you need to buy two games for Rs. 1,999. This effectively ensures a price of Rs. 999 per game (or Rs. 999.50 if we have to be exact). Secondly, the Back to School Offer from Sony India runs from August 16 to August 30, so it's a limited time promotion. And finally, this isn't on every PS4 game and neither is it for every PS4 game in the PlayStation Hits label either. So if you were expecting Gravity Rush Remastered and Gravity Rush 2 for Rs. 999 apiece, this is not the case. Here's the list of games available in the Back to School Offer.

That said, when you the rising price of PC games and certain publishers preferring a higher price tag across platforms, it could be a welcome turn of events for many a gamer in the country.Of greater importance however, is how many of these games will be readily available. A quick check online and at several offline stores indicates that most of these games can be purchased immediately with some retailers like Amazon, offering Uncharted 4 for as low as Rs. 990 as well.
